How much does ISO 9001 implementation cost in South Africa?
Cost depends on the number of processes and sites, how complex your operation is and how much support you need. QUEMS agrees one fixed fee for a clearly defined scope before work starts, and bills per phase rather than by the hour.
How long does ISO 9001 implementation take?
Most QUEMS implementations run for at least six months. Each stage closes with a sign-off before the next begins, so progress is visible and nothing is rushed into the audit.
Will ISO 9001 bury us in paperwork?
It shouldn’t. We document what your business needs to control its work and meet the standard, written in plain language with the people who use it. A system nobody reads protects nobody.
Can QUEMS Consulting certify our business?
No. Certification is issued by an independent certification body after its assessment. QUEMS builds the system and prepares you for that assessment. No consultant can honestly guarantee certification.
What happens after certification?
Every implementation includes 30 days of complimentary support after sign-off. After that, you can run the system yourselves or choose ongoing support to stay audit-ready.
Do you work outside KwaZulu-Natal?
Yes. QUEMS is based in Ballito and supports businesses across South Africa. Travel for projects outside KwaZulu-Natal is agreed upfront at a fixed amount, so there are no surprises.
